First, regarding artillery. Especially with the new smaller provinces, will artillery bombardments into nearby provinces be possible?

About technology. Will the tech tree be more like HoI or Eu2? And will events be added? (Like Krupp's major artillery developents for the Prussians) And what about repeating rifles and breechloaders? I think events moddled around them would be good, though there would have to be a downside to deciding to adopt them.

Also, regarding the railroad. How will it be handled? I just don't know how this could be moddled, but I hope it will be.

Finally, about diplomacy. Will you be able to give and take in peace? As well, will the ai be more competent with regards to making peace? If there's no action going on and almost no chance of their being action, will they actually accept peace?

I think this would be an excellent feature for a late game tech improvement (Land 44 -- Long Range Artillery)

This would simulate a good chunk of WWI

I would love a tech tree like HOI, but I hope limitations are put on to certain techs being developed early.

I can see General Lee now rolling down Pennsylvania Ave in a Sherman!

That of course would never happen. It would be Jeb Stuart, in the tank; Lee would be in an open top Humvee.

But you make a good point, we should have to research a lot of doctrine, before we can prepare applications.

Yep, the Conderates having Sherman tanks would be a bit ironic..... With their Shermans and Grants they would face the Yankees fielding Lees and Stuarts...:D

Even before WWI it should be in. Artillery gave the Prussians a huge avdantage over the French in the Franco-Prussian war (I think 1877)
