I would assume you're going to need to really encourage more soldier pops via national focus because 50 brigades simply won't do it in the battle fields of Europe.
Indeed, but I still only got 1 NF to use....for now. Also, I'm terrible at foreshadowing events, but the war shall be closer to home than we wanted. (Hint: If you've been following the AAR from the start, you'll noticed how Spain expanded in Africa and when one looks at the war sides...hehe.)
Chapter 6 part 2: The disasters of war
1914-1922
The 3rd World War kicks off when Germany attempts to re-gain control of Bohemia, as they cored the regions in the time Germany held it.
Good luck with that.
Our biggest enemy will be Spain, who's borders in Africa directly border us. The South Africa navy, as it is heading up to blockade ports in Spain, ends of finding and engaging a Spanish fleet, bound for the Cape to land enemy troops.
The invasion of Spanish Africa commences with out main armies invading Spanish Tanzania and Angola.
Battle plans.
The Germans intended (based of observing military observations) to make a push into Austria-Hungary and the North-Eastern border of France.
Can it work?
Back to the Naval battle, with 10 battleships, we easily defeat them off the coast of Cameroon!
We secure naval superiority in Africa for the time being.
The Spanish decide to invade South African Tanzania, and take on the small garrison there, bringing a defeat upon us.
We start researching Military Plans.

More battles ensured that the military of South Africa would be tested in the most hardest of situations. Finally, the news broke that German made peace with the Freedom Powers....ending in a defeat for the Anglo-German alliance. South Africa, having thought that the war would bring them victory, ended up on the losing side and being forced to disband the entire South African navy and half of the army.
On the bright side, somewhat...
We lose infamy faster.
At least we did not lose any lands. Al we lost was.. the trust of our allies.
Military Statistics were researched.
Germany suffered the most, having all their armies disbanded and retaining a fair navy...sorta.

We start research on Steel Breech-loaded Artillery.
Our last colonial region in Africa is finally granted Statehood and joins with the rest of the Northern Cape region.
Russia calls us in a war to take back Northern Finland from Sweden, who is not allied with Germany anymore.
Russia is returning guys!
We start research on Deep Defense System.
Finally, the truce is over and we start building up our armies once more!

We finally switch to Military-Industrial Complex!
We spend a few more years researching Phenomenalism and Experimental Psychology.
The 4th Great war breaks out with the Freedom powers fighting Communist Germany, Flanders and the United Kingdom.
USA finally joins Freedom Powers.
At one point, the UK suffers a Communist Revolution of its own. Revenge!
We include Brazil in our Sphere of Influence.
Germany at this point is bound to collapse completely.

Nothing quite like turning on your former buddies. It's especially shocking here because before the war, your government was socialist, and the Germans and British are now communists. I personally only try to intervene in Great Wars when I'm sure I have enough sealift or whatnot to get troops to the major battlefields.
Aye, indeed so. My transport fleet got wiped as a result of the last war, but with better ports than before, I'm sure that I can easily raise a good fleet to send a 45,000 army to the fields of Europe.

South Africa officially enters the 4th World War on the side of the Freedom Powers.

To mark the occasion, we start research on Modern Divisional Structure.
The Zanzibar Guard, under the command of the famous British WW1 general Geoffrey French start to land troops on the British colony of Mauritius.

After that is occupied, we start going over to the Seychelles and occupy that in the same manor.
France makes peace with Germany, eventually getting all their cores back from the Germans and annexing poor Flanders.
Prussia is also re-created, in actual Prussia!
France offers us a Alliance. We are now fully in the Freedom Powers!
The wound is healed!
One of the largest rebellions yet strike the Union, as thousands of communist rebels rise all over South Africa.

Then I encounter one of those moments where you want to say "what the tomato?"
Brazilians fighting Austrian-Hungarian troops in Egypt.
Spain declared war on Egypt to get a state (by now, Egypt is civilized) and called their ally Brazil, but Austria-Hungary intervened on behalf of Egypt. These actions would lead the Freedom Powers to action.
One of those battles.
We start research on Limited-Access Roads.
By now, Europe is still in war, with Prussia warring Germany to re-gain one of their cores and France going for the Rhine.
A comet deftly got seen.
Finally, the Freedom Powers act.

Yeah, this AAR has had the luck of having 4 Great Wars happen, and I've never seen that many in awhile to be honest.
Aye, indeed so. The poor fellow was taking advantage of Germany's beating by the Freedom Powers. Too bad the Danes forgot the Germans have a navy...
They want Iceland to be freed, actually. I find it a bit odd, but then again, it's the only free-able nation that Germany can chose from Denmark.
I really dislike when that happens. Iceland should be it's own state, so a forcibly liberated Iceland does not end up with Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
