Here's a suggestion for you guys that I thought I could make using the standard modding guides but in the end I could not.

I'd like an additional floating user interface that I can use to add values from the ledger to "watch" throughout EVERY MOMENT of a game.

I'd like to be able to:
- Keep track of France's total unit count and manpower to better track their vulnerability.
- Keep track of the average of all opinions of France's neighbors
- Receive an alert when any of the watched values I specified falls or climbs over or under a threshold value.

These are just a few ideas. What do you think?

Some of that might be feasible from the console, but if you can add things like arithmetic expressions or control structures, you've basically turned EU4 into an IDE and added a host of security and stability issues. I'm fine with tracking ledger values, though.

Arithmetic expressions suite my personal intentions for that suggestion just fine. Personally, EU4 could use a little spreadsheet functionality with a couple aggregate functions thrown in for good measure. That way, an experienced player can streamline the intake of vital information and play the game at a higher speed without missing anything.

I'd really love an opinion from a user interface dev on the matter.
