Some of these are better than others... the Columbia flags (pg 6) get a thumbs down from someone who actually lives there. Our provincial flag is horrible to begin with - hardly the devs' fault for trying to translate it into the game as best they could. But regardless, this is soooooo cool. I picked communist Belgium.

Dictatorships which aren't quite fascist will most likely use the Republic flag, as usually they style themselves as such (The only exception I can think of is Hungary, which claimed to still be a monarchy until the end of WWII).

Correct the Kingdom of Hungary was a Constitutional Monarchy with a dictatorial regent in the absence of a king.

There have always been a few funny countries, like the "Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth" which styled itself a republic under the presidency of the king

Mephy- it isnt the CPL(Commonwealth of Poland-Lithuania) its PLC(Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth)... there never was a CPL there never will be a CPL it was always the PLC... and the rest of the dribble that comes from that post which does not make much sense to be perfectly honest(Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish–Lithuanian_Commonwealth for more information, never does it say any of the tripe which your purport.)
