I’ve started a new party. During first years my corvettes did initial scouting around homeworld. We found 4 usual empires nearby and Fallen Empire a bit farther. Few months after contact with FE, I suddenly received contacts with all four usual empires at once. It’s strange per se, because they were found with big intervals. But it’s a bug exactly since they are still present in the list of special projects (although the names like “Lambda Alien” were changed to revealed names of these empires).
Fortunately I managed to kill the game via process manager at proper time: last autosave was made just before the revealing will occur, so you can reproduce it.
