Ok, something wrong here:

July 19 SCW starts
July 28 N Spain annexes R Spain

It should not be possible to annex R Spain in 9 says even if they won a string of battles.

This certainly isn't normal, and any particulars of what occurred would be nice.

Relax, take a day off. With the new patch released all the involved parties should do anything other than think about this game for a few days.

I've played about 2 years of a new 1936 game as Germany, and the Spanish Civil War went very well. The Nationalists won, but it took them until the middle of 1938 to do so. Very nice.

I also very much like the fact that Germany now gains Late War Experience Analysis as a result of its intervention. Good historical touch, since the intervening powers did indeed learn a great deal from their observations of the conflict.

I wasn't paying any attention to the war honestly - I was Italy, said yes to the support event and then went on with my business in the Balkans...until I noticed the annex message.

My best guess would be that the Nationalists started off with a major advantage and took it. In V1.02, the Republicans stated with 4 or so Divs in Madrid, making an immediate conquest impossible...

Meh... Patric stayed up until 2am to help get the patch out, I think I owe it to him to keep busy, since my work will continue for a while.
