One of my allies declared war to get a few planets from an enemy. During said war the enemy was vassalised by an other empire. So we are now at war with only the ally of our original enemy and cant take the planets.
As I'm not the one that started the war I cannot end it.
As the war goals are not the property of our remaining enemy my ally won't end the war.
We're stuck.
On the subject of wars, the fact that we have to give things to our allies to have their vote and they don't have to do the same is strange.
And since the vassalize war goal has a fixed cost, if your enemy and you have a few vassals you can't start a vassalize war.
