Hello,
Well i was just fighting 3 AI empires and my main fleet was minding it own business bombarding one of the AI's planets. The need arose for me to make use of a raiding fleet. Well i go to assign a leader to the fleet and some how the general of my main fleet was an available to be assigned to my raider fleet. So now he is the leader of both fleets. However i cannot assign him to a third fleet after further testing.

I can confirm this, I am also unable to unassign the admiral from his first fleet, and trying to assign another admiral in his stead has the leader screen show the new one as assigned while the old (broken) one is now idle, but the fleet screen still shows him as being in charge.

Confirm this as well...

It appears to simply be from merging a fleet without a leader to one with. This leader essentially becomes broken. He will be listed as available in the leaders menu. Any ships split off that originally had this leader will also show his image even though he is not leading the fleet.

The only way I was able to assign this leader to a fleet was by adding it to a separate fleet that never had him (only now does this leader show as doing something), but his image will still be on the old fleet(s).

+1. Just encountered in 1.0.3.

- Have a fleet with a leader.
- Split the fleet.
- Leader will be assigned to one of the fleets, however his status in the Leader screen will change to "Available".
- Merge the 2 fleets (possible selecting the leaderless fleet 1st? not sure)
- Now split the fleets a 2nd time, leader will become assigned to both fleets.
