The leader name and all attributes are set to null or -1. This does not appear to save across a save game -- the display showed this error, but the save game does not display this data. Instead, when I loaded the game this morning, the 'error' leader was removed, and the number of leaders was accurately modified to 11/12.
It may be that this was an intermittent error, where the deletion of an old leader allowed me the opportunity to bring up the leader display before the leader death activity was completed. I don't know how you have 'locked' events like this, but the leader death (a governor) may need a data locking mechanism.
I don't have a saved game or screenshot showing this error, sorry. I had a saved game immediately after the leader death which caused me to open the display and notice the error. It appears that the save game operation clears whatever caused this display error, it it cannot be reproduced.
