I'm unable to reproduce this in our internal build, so you might have a unique crash.

Could you follow these certain steps and attach save, dump and logs for us?
You find your save, dumps&logs here if you have Windows as OS;
C:\Users\yourpcname\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\
Take the latest dumpfile in the dumps folder (since it should be your latest crash or crash again to get a new one)
Zip it together with the logs folder.
You can either attach it here at the forums, or by a thirdparty program (googledrive or such) or mail it to me leo.larsson@paradoxplaza.com.

Awesome! We might have a hotfix that could fix your crash coming.
1.0.2 hotfix have a fix regarding crashes that could occur when renaming sectors.
Please try it out and see if the crash is fixed
