Playing as british raj, 1936 start, pushed communism to liberate the country from british rule.
However, now that revolution/civil war has come via an event, country just splits into two parts and I am unable to war with the British Raj. I'd have just guessed I'd get dumped directly into a civil war, but the now-divided country is at peace.
Game says that I can declare war on them for the "Civil War" war goal, but when I click on them to start the war the game says I cannot start that war because British Raj is a puppet state - I'd have to declare war on UK. If I try to declare war on GB, I do not have a war goal. I have tried to move all of my troops out of UK / Raj territory, but that does nothing.
Further, I am still stuck in all of the wars that GB dragged me into - even though I am rebelling against them! You'd think the Russians would be thrilled about a communist revolution kicking off next door. You can imagine how this is kind of an unacceptable situation for anyone who'd like to make some alternate history and free South Africa or India from colonialism.
Tried this previously with Democracy and despite getting to 100% support nothing happened. At all. Sadly, I do not have those saves any longer. I have not tried it with Fascism.
