- explored a system and completed it, without finding any signs of life (only 1 habitable tundra planet, but without any population)
- moved to the next system and started exploring
- a few (ingame) days later my science-ship was forced to leave the region, because violating the borders of an AI empire which has not been there before
- checked the previously explored system again, and now a second habitable world was present with a pop of 3 or 4 and space station in orbit (station at 599/2000 HP)
