I was able to play the game just fine yesterday for multiple hours in two separate stints, but when I start it now the game launcher immediately turns black and goes unresponsive, leaving me with no choice but to end the process through the task manager. Very annoying as I was looking forward to playing some more this evening. Is there any way to bypass the launcher and start the game straightaway?
I have not installed any Windows updates since I played last, nor anything else for that matter, so not sure what is going on. I did do a restart in the meanwhile. I checked the logs but couldn't find anything relevant there.
I'll try to reinstall then, I guess.
Not sure whether it is worth nothing that:
- I play in Windowed mode
- I have the pre-order DLC and the ones coming with the Nova edition installed
- I play on a Dell Precision laptop, with an I7-4810MQ, 8GB RAM and an AMD FirePro M5100 (running a 64 bit Win7)
