I am fairly new to this and realize that related posts may be spread out through the hundreds of threads in this forum. Please bear with me.

I know very little about database or application creation and so I'm like many others members who hope that the programming gurus out there will design some useful mods/tools, etc.

I've worked on a Leader Creation Kit and have parts of it together but like I said, I know VERY LITTLE about database or application creation. I designed it in ACCESS and have parts of it working correctly (one aspect summarizes shock, attrition, defense, etc. totals for combinations of personality and background and another allows you to selct pictures, etc) But geeting them to work together and then pasting the information into a leader file is way beyond me.

Anyway, if anyone out there who knows more about programming would like to work together on designing tools, etc. for Victoria, please let me know.

P.S. Also, I recently played Pax Romana and their Scenario Editor could be used as a basis for a new Scenario Creation tool for Victoria. (I would be ahppy to send it to anyone who wanted to look at it.) Anyway, if anyone is interested in any aspect of this... I'm all ears....

THANKS!

Pax Romana

It's ok.... lots of bugs though and little support from developer.

There's a "timing" mechanism in some of the political/adminstrative functions that make it rather frustraitng to play. That is, at the end of each year you have a meeting in the forum and have less than 5(?) minutes to decide armies to build, plan diplomatic missions, form policied for the year and then get them voted on by the Senate. Of course, you can edit the timing files and get all the time you need. That said, it's ok. Will be better when it's patched and maybe worked on a little. Nice concept.

Anyway, I hope someone is willing to either post links to helpful tools or work together on devloping them.
