So i'm playing as the Soviets and it's early 1942. Germany hasn't DOW'd on me yet (i guess because they haven't conquered all of Greece yet), but they are fighting the US (so is Japan but they haven't joined the Axis yet). Should i go ahead and DOW on Germany (and maybe Japan)? I'm kind of worried this would ruin my dissent and belligerence but i'm tired of having this huge army and no one to fight:(

It may be that the Germans are behind schedule - being badly delayed in France, for example.

If Finland isn't in the Axis you could attack there and get them to 'join' your cause.

If nothing has happened by late may/june you could launch Operation Assorabrab (reverse Barbarossa) when the weather clears.

Before DOWing somebody reduce your isolationism as much as possible. That will help you with dissent
