"I wonder why you're even asking this in the Parliament, Comrade Tomashevky.

Because we are Socialist Democratic Parliamentary People's Soviet Republic of Galicia, not Galician Republic Ruled by Authoritarian Miihkali! :p

Comrade Tomashevky,

In regards to our current military construction plans, I humbly suggest that we spread out the engineer brigades over our various units, to give all of them the ability to move faster. I also question the wisdom of such a large amount of police detachments for units that will, likely as not, find use for themselves at the front. In my humble opinion we should supply our field units with things like armored cars instead, and assign these police units to those divisions that will garrison captured territory instead.

Also,

I fully support sending troops to assist our brothers on the Iberian Peninsula. We have a great chance here to help secure another nation, one with a rich history and some strategic importance, for the international proletariat.

Send troops. I will even command them myself if necessary! This could be a good opportunity to gain experience.

Seconded. Send troops to the Republicans. Maybe that helps us with getting better relations with the USSR.

Send the troops to counter bolshevism! Though I'm afraid that our troops as part of the international volutneer contingent will fall under the authority of the Bolshevist Comintern.

We must support our socialist brothers, but how are we going to send the troops with no sea access? :confused:

If there are no road (to sea), then we will MAKE ONE! :rofl:
Just kidding (maybe), there should be some river port IRL to let us send soldiers. Or if Uncle Joe doesn't mind, our troops could take a free ride by Moscow. :D

Of course Stalin let's our troops to pass through USSR, to help those Republicans in Spain.

DKG: It's maybe stupid produce so huge amount of polices, but I'll first research basic field artillery, then produce it for every infantry divisions and then build garrison and give polices to them :wacko:

Update comes later today.

Political Crisis

10,000 men and equipment was sent to Spain to help their moving onwards socialism. Republican Spain almost immediately captured most of Iberia, however, Nationalists didn't surrender. Maybe they were almost defeated, but only almost. During the late 1936 Spanish nationalists moved around Iberian coast...

Also many techs were invented and finished: Reno Vercetti produced new machine tools for Galician industry, Andromeda Reserarch Corp invented mechanized agriculture and Galician Small Arms produced new, semi-motorized cavalry equipment. And also trecaddict produced new, early artillery divisions for Galician military.

However, November 15 of 1936 monarchists, using their Conservative Galician Party as tool of anarchy. Opposition striked against foreign policies, and foreign minister Byczewski - and caused political crisis. Preliminary decision of problem is this:

But immediately when Byczewski (i.e. Masked Pickle) says the right way to do in our foreign policies, I'll launch that event and select his choice. ''His our foreign minister'' Tomashevsky declared, ''not those anti-democratic-fascist-monarchist-Germanist-pan-ruthenian-anarchists, those members of so called Galician Conservative party! I call it as 'Party of Decline'!'' Then Agent 47 came into front of parliament house and said to Tomashevksy: ''If it's needed, that party can be outlawed.'' This offer caused dissent and turmoil in parliament, and Tomashevsky only said: ''In here, we vote about everything. Why not vote about this?''

In January 10 of 1937 Cracow-Iasi railroad was finished:

Also, during 1936 Galician army got few new divisions. 1st and 2nd Special Forces Division (mountain), 1st Mountain Rifle Division (mountain) and 1st Rifle Division 'Bukovina' & 2nd Rifle Division 'Ruthenia'. Three first were assigned into 1st Corps on Romanian border, two last were assigned into 5th Corps in Beltsy.

Then happened sad border incident in January 23 of 1937:

Now there's even two votings! First is about outlawing Conservative party:

Outlaw conservatives:
* -1 democracy
* 1 dissent

Democracy needs opposition
* +1 political right
* 1 dissent

and another voting about Romania.

Declare War (fair punishment for their crimes!)
* Declaration of war against Romania
* -20 relations with Balkan nations and Germany

Let it Be
* -20 relations with Romania
* 5 dissent

Send ultimatum to Romania
* +1 interventionism
* -40 relations with Romania
--> If they accept they will give Bessarabia to us and also military acces through their nation
--> If they don't accept 5 dissent to us and declaration of war against Romania by Galicia

Long Live Socialist Democratic Parliamentary People's Soviet Republic of Galicia!

I say democracy needs opposition, and send the Romanians an ultimatum.

Thanks for defending me against these rotten monarchists, mister President. I was even ready to resign if my decisions were provocating a worse dissent. I will never forget it.

About the current voting:

-As we are a true social-democracy, we absolutely need to keep an opposition within our country. If not, we will be nothing less than another Balkanic dictatorship. And I speak as the first man attacked by these crooked reactionnaries.

-I think, in our policy of distanciation towards USSR, we shouldn't act as an expansionist country. Moreover, there is a huge Romanian community in Bukovina; if we declare war against Romania without even an ultimatum, we risk to face terrible unrest in these strategical provinces. But we can't leave this incident without a response; it's the best occasion to take an access to the Black Sea and testing our army in real conditions...I vote for an gentlemen's ultimatum, but see with Comisarul Moldovan and Agent 47 for an analysis of the support of the Romanian minority in Bukovina.

I vote for Send The ultimatum the the romanians. We need to expand!

"Conservative Party, say they. Fascist Party, say I! We will not have any pseudo-democratic parties whose only goal is to fit our democracy to their needs! They will have absolutely NO say in the way we conduct our foreign affairs!

As for the Romanian matter, why an ultimatum? They brought this on to themselves and I say we make them pay the price for their completely unprovoked attacks!"

Its Pickle's decision, but I am strongly against any option in the foreign policy attack making us more isolationist or dove-ish.

I vote outlaw the conservatives (I am a monarchist, deal with it) and send the ultimatum.

It is good to see the forces of good prevailing in Spain. :)
