I am playing v0.93 as the Soviet Union. My automatic convoys are not working. Most of my convoy routes are displayed in red and it says that the sea passage is blocked. I cannot supply my troops on the island of Britain and also in the Mediteranean. This does not make sense...

I have captured and puppeted Turkey, and Turkey is in the Comintern and we are at war with the Allies, so the Bosphorus should be open to me.

I have captured and puppeted Republican Spain (including Gibraltar) so the passage by Gibraltar should be open to me.

I have captured Suez so the Suez Canal should be open to me.

I have captured Copenhagen (and annexed it as part of the German surrender event) so the passageway out of the Baltic Sea should be open to me.

I control the seas with packs of Naval Bombers on Naval Strike missions, plus I have several SAGs composed of Level 6 BBs and CVLs with plenty of level 5 DD escorts. I destroy the US Navy and Royal Navy in every engagement.

I have 450 idle convoy ships and 150 escorts doing nothing.

I saved and reloaded a couple times over the period of several game weeks, but the convoy issue did not get fixed.

But ---- my troops are out of supply and they are starving. Why????
___

In the meantime, I had to manually edit the save game to create an impassible land connection from Dover to France and also created a few supply depots so I can continue my campaign despite this bug.

Where are your troops? Do YOU control the provinces they're in?

My that are out of supply hold the suez/port said/israel/palestine area, the island of palma de mallorca off the mediterranean coast of Spain, and about five provinces in the southern UK.

I have German garrisons in Copenhagen (annexed by me), Istanbul (owned by my puppet Turkey who is in the comintern), Gibraltar (owned by my puppet Republican Spain who is in the comintern), and plus Suez (occupied by me but not annexed because I have not yet beaten the UK).

Ok. Change the convoy setup to manual, remove all convoys, let the game run for a day or two and turn on automatic again. If that doesn't work just set up the convoys manually and let them run like that.

Weird stuff happens if you have huge armies supplied by sea. You may need to adjust convoys manually because the program has a hard time managing the amount of oil and supplies required. Also, if you have landlocked units supplied via a connection to a puppet, sometimes this doesn't work very well.
