How do I do this? Someone recommended this strategy to clear the way for my US invasion, but it seems pretty daunting. The US has 475 naval units. I just sortied a bunch of subs (mostly type IX) and sunk a bunch of their vessels, then looked at the unit list and they had deployed more ships in the month than I managed to sink! My advanced naval bombers don't have lots of range to fly across the atlantic, so I'm wondering how other people managed to get their invasion fleet across the Atlantic?

Thanks,

Chris

Well You could wait for the US Navy to try an invasion and sink their fleet then with naval bobers and subs at the same time.

To get the planes across conquer Cuba or Haiti and use it as a staging point. (you can go to the tip of west africa and you can reach it) or use aircraft carriers to help them reach Cuba. (If you try just carrierrs make sure they keep well clear of US ships and convoys

If you are playing 1.06 you are going to have to have a Carribean island annexed to lessen the logistics penalty.

As for getting there, just get every ship you have and make a mad dash across the ocean and hope you don't get intercepted by a US fleet big enough to matter. Hopefully most of their fleet is in the Pacific...
