My favorite thing to do is to have detailed tactical battles using other game systems, while using the Paradox titles for the strategic aspects of the games. I believe other people would enjoy this too.
I believe you could sell many more games if you could incorporate one simple feature in your games, which is to allow people to use other systems to resolve the battles, and then enter the results into the paradox title.
So when a battle occurred, the game would ask "do you want to resolve this normally or outside this game", then it would ask "what was the result of the battle", and you would enter something as simple as total losses and whether one side retreated.
I suppose this could also be done with a mod to a paradox title. I am able to do this roughly with editing of saved games, but I think a simple feature in the regular games would be very popular. There is an entire hobby of miniature gamers who might want to do this, in addition to those who would be using their favorite tactical title.
