I do have to say, in one of my earlier EU1 games, one of my allies got into a war and I wanted to check something before deciding whether or not to accept. So, I saved and exited the game to check the savegame file. Lo and behold, when I restarted the game, I discovered there was a way to not join a war without actually breaking the alliance! ;)

Sixteenthed I believe.

Something else that has always been a peeve of mine, why not have new windows for events and messages pop up BEHIND the old ones? That way no more clicking on what you think is an OK or Go To regarding a province falling to rebels, but in fact is apparently me deciding to not build the Palace of Versailles. Cuz I totally hate Centralization and Victory Points, ya know.

oh, that's a great suggestion too. countless times i've hit ok on some harmless message, only to discover i mad a baaaaad desicion on something big.

regarding the mizclicks i think there where a thread somewhile back regarding it, but yeah make the windows appear behind the earlier windows, to make sure you don't get swarmed in information while trying to remove the unimportant information.
