Sure. Limited Regeneration from the Orbital Speed-Demon anomaly. (Best applied last, because it's possible to lose it to the other events.)
Intelligent from Horizon Signal. Traditional from gene-modding.

The more interesting ones are Fast Breeders and Strong, which you can get from the self-modified pop event chain. To do it, research Gene Modding while you have some pops on low-habitability worlds. I like to take Non-Adaptive because it makes this even easier, and stops being a disadvantage once you have World Shaper and Arcology Project.

Wait for one of your groups of pops to self-modify, and then immediately go hit Apply on your primary species template, turning them back into the same species as everyone else. You'll lose a few pops due to the "inter-species" violence events that trigger, but now when your self-modified pops gain new traits from the events, the template that's generated is based on your primary species. Each time that happens, just go apply it in the species screen and now everyone has the traits. Brutal.

I'm tempted to switch from my usual pick of Extremely Adaptive/Repugnant now. Horizon event would give Tomb World habitability along with Intelligent, but your method is really cool. Although I struggle to find a slot for World Shaper. Venerable makes Psi path much more appealing for sure.

@Adolf - Finite War Personally I think Bio path wins flavor wise over any other. Psions and robots are cliche, but self modified bio is rather uncommon in both games and SF.

Well it might be less cliche but it has more meat on its bones for now.

As for überpops. If one of your pops ends up in the hands of assimilators or their cyborg species happens to share your main species (editing the Commonwealth of Man for humans for example) you can use the galactic species toggle to create a cybernetic template it won't apply to the leaders you have unlike the ascension perk but new leaders in your rooster will have the special cybernetic perk and the ones you have had before should still get the life expectancy benefit since thats part of the species the belong to.

How exactly are Psi ship components best in slot? Maybe the shields but they require Zro. I'm not using jump drives a lot, whats good about Psi jump drives?

What about the Synth combat computers? Aren't they the best in slot?
