I did play CK but I don't know which slider you are talking about.

CK slider setting is using percentage.

In HOI2,

I like

Consumer --- 100% in the middle then can auto adjust 0.01/0.02/0.03 dissent increment then lock

Product --- 100% in the middle then can fixed lock no matter any new IC come

Supply --- 100% in the middle then + all wasted IC

Reinforcment --- 100% in the middle

Upgrades --- 100% in the middle then can auto adjust if any upgrades completed then lock

Maybe some slide are not set to 100% in the middle. However, I like use percentage other than current HOI2 setting.

And I hate waste all my time to adjust those stupid new IC.

:D

Hey buddy, after drinking the whole forum, for sure must return some.

kucing,

actually, I hate 2 things.

1. why don't directly put wasted IC into Supply?
2. why the new IC will unlock Product?

the funning thing was I found that 2/3 of my time was spent on that.

it will be great to fixed lock by percentage like what CK current doing.

it's a war strategy game not mouse drag game.

:p

Man - it's not as easy as it sounds. The Maus consumes insane amounts of fuel!

You can lock the sliders, using the same method you do in EVERY Paradox game. Right click the slider button. It's now locked and won't move no matter what until you right click it again.

So it seems your only issue is that HOI2 uses the actual #s rather than %. Sorry, but most of us (probably 99%) would rather see the actual #s.

The slider position may not move again, but if new ICs are acquired then they are (partly) put in production whether you locked that slider or not. And since you will mostly keep your production slider exactly at the amount of ICs required, this means the new ICs get wasted. So you have to adjust the slider every time you acquire new ICs. Very irritating IMO, and I kind of agree with the percentage idea.

bingo

For I don't want to waste anything, it then turns to be a mouse drag game.

All I want is a button to the right or left of each slider that when pressed sets the slider to the eact amount needed to satisfy that setting. Because it is true that 50% of the game is dealing with the sliders.

My mine problem with the current system is that occasionaly production will suddenly dip a couple points (even with the slider locked) and if have a serial run going at the bottem of the cue, goodbye gearing bonus. If I have excess supply/consumer goods/whatever, then why take away IC from production when there is some kind of IC slip.
