Hi every1..Im playing HOI2 v1.3b as USA. Its already 1943 and Japan hasnt declared war and neither it has attacked pearl harbor. It is also not a part of the axis powers. Also, I cannot join the allies. If some1 cud direct me to a thread where I can read all the events for the USA and how they are triggered, it wud be very helpful as im playing as USA for the first time.A chain of events and how they are triggered for germany is given in paradoxian.org...so anything a little similar to thd wud be very helpful..as I want to know the conditions in which japan joins the axis powers..the attack on pearl harbor...gearing up for war...joining the allies etc...

Ive also read the guide for the 1.3 patch but it only tells abt the various events which occur for the US and not the conditions in which they r triggered

just go into the Hearts of Iron 2 folder, click on the db folder, events, and then click on the events for the country of your choice and it shows the triggers. Note: their is an AI and a player event folder for every major country.

You cant join the Allies because your interventionism slider is to far to the left. You should automatically be able to join the allies after the Pearl Harbor event (their is no join the allies event), though I don't know why it didn't fire.

The Pearl Harbor event triggers after Japan DoW's USA.
