I recently purchesed HOI 2 and I have thoroughly enjoyed this game except for one fact. While playing as the US, especialy in the Pacific theater of war, I find that my units are constantly out of supply. I know convoys are part of this, but they don't seem to be transporting any supplies to my troops. Another problem I have is that large sections of the ocean (including areas adjacent to my mainland) are also out of supply, while ares of ocean in the middle of nowhere are supplied. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Can you give us a screen?

Have you set your sliders to prduse supply?
Are the way of your convoys full of enemy or free?
Look at your convoy map mode?
And you can see, where your convoys are shippng your supply and you can figure it manually.

Are you really still playing HOI 2?

Have your heard of the expansion Doomsday or Armageddon?
And are you interested in Arsenal of Democracy (based on HOI 2)?

sorry, im playing Armageddon.
i have also solved my problem.
what i was initially doing was attacking japan from the philippines. this left japan to easily cut off my supplies. now, i am attacking from wake island and pearl harbor.
screens attached.

the first one is where i went wrong. i positioned all my forces in the philippines. however, when i tried to take islands, the japanese cut my supply lines.

however, in my newer game, guam and the philippines have fallen, and i am pushing to liberate them.

and yes, i am not allied with the uk, so they stole guam from me.

and yes, a lot of supplies ect, its a mod i made where every nation gets a lot of supplies at the start.

The reason you were running out of supplies in the Philippines was probably because the convoy that was set up was too small to properly supply the troops in the Philippines or the Japanese were raiding convoys in the shipping lanes. If you leave it to auto-management by the AI, it frequently stops convoy shipments if it believes that there is sufficient supplies in a given locale (which often runs out before the AI sends the next convoy).
