I already have the muslim DLC from "extreme edition", but I can't find any USA dlc. Someone have a idea what it is?

It was a fail safe in case they coulnd't create a working CK2 converter. Had they failed they would have added a USA DLC as august pre-order bonus for the game instead.

They said in a thread this week that it was the backup DLC in case they couldn't get the converter out in time, but after they finished the converter they stopped working on it. Apparently they might fix it up for the future.

It's obviously not a single event or decision, but rather different modifiers granted by USA's specific NIs, policies, event and decisions. Just your usual country flavor DLC.

These are just the modifiers, not code for the stuff itself.

I'll be looking forward to that DLC. I'm not really that interested in playing the usa if they don't have the flavor to make it feel unique.

I'd love a DLC that encompassed all the independence movements in the Americas, not just the USA (in spite of my avatar). Especially if it pushed the end date back to 1830 and came with a converter to Vicky 2...maybe some more stuff/bookmark for the napoleonic wars too

Yeah... The USA seems so minor in this timeframe to warrant a DLC on its own, to be honest...

And yes, the Purple Phoenix was like that, too. However, the reason that DLC was added was due to the Byzantophile cadre currently blackmailing and infiltrating Paradox as we speak.

While America the nation wasn't that big a deal, the American Revolution itself was extremely important, as it inspired the later French Revolution to some degree, and the democratic ideals it put forward were part and parcel with Enlightenment thought.

I think a United States DLC would be neat, personally. Flavor events and mechanics for the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Constitution would be really cool.
