It'd be nice to have the option to let Allies attach to your troops like in eu4.

Then maybe if you're the faction leader you can draw up a big plan that your allies can contribute a certain amount of troops, equipment, etc to.

If you're not the faction leader, it'd be nice if your ai allies could draw up an actual good plan and you can contribute to, or maybe separate factions between major and minor allies, and majors can always draw plans and ask for contributions.

I can think of a lot of good reasons labeling faction members as major or minor allies could be a good idea.
