I believe the spirit of the US WE changes is that axis aggresion/ successes increase WE.
In MP there is a problem in that :
Italy while neutral does not impact US WE when it gobbles up territory. Worse, Italy taking Portugal (portugal is fascist) and Rumania (I dont know why) actually REDUCES US WE.
Similary Japan taking UK VP territories in India in 39 or 40 also REDUCES US WE (whethe Japan is in the axis or not does not seem to matter)
One would think that Japanese aggression againts the allies should generate a strong increase in US WE, no ?
