Well, I'm in the US and I'm wondering if it is (or will) be possible to acquire a hard copy within the US. If not, how will I buy this? I've checked all my game retailers (Gamestop, Amazon) and am running out of ideas. Now I'm here. Help, anyone?

Check with Paradox but most US games need to be played on Steam ( or other on line connection like Origin games) even if you have the disks so why by a hard copy just down load it via steam.....

I mean, you can use Steam offline, so you don't need a constant connection.

In CK2 and EU4 (maybe others?) can't you just copy the game file directly from the steam directory and do whatever with them? This includes running on a machine without steam.

I know that if you run the exe directly rather than through steam it does not have the steam overlay.
