US inherits British territory after UK surrender...

Successfully invaded Britain. Invaded Republican Spain and was on my way to attack Gibraltar when I got a peace out of the Allies. Found that US had somehow gotten Gibraltar and all the Middle East. I was able to correct this was using claims and cheats. I really hope this isn't WAD. If it is it was done expressly to screw the Axis, and I cry BS. The US has no business owning Egypt and Nigeria and Palestine and Jordan, etc...

I have not experienced this yet but maybe it has something to do with the US not being involved in the War, the Alliance or the peace event.

Imperial surrender in and of itself should not be particularly WAD. Churchill's government was prepared to retreat to Canada and organise a resistance among the Dominions, even if various colonial possessions might revolt.

There was also a lot of lobbying on the part of the US to get the Royal Navy to sail to Canada or even the US should Brittan fall. On the other hand, it might make some sense for the US to take over the West Indies. Something to think about for a mod once we get a few patches under our belts.

I had taken all of the British Isles except for Inverness, Scapa and Stornoway. Kenya went to Canada. Somehow the US got all the rest. Stopped the successful Italian offensive in Egypt cold just short of Alexandria.

I can see the US and Canada getting all British possessions in the Western Hemisphere, but the US getting the possessions in Africa is just too much...

The Same, Italy was marching into Egypt and then UK got the Fall of the Empire, and they lost some African colonies to US (Not all; like Zambia or former Belgian Congo), wich I wasnt at war with, that is just crazy.
