Yes, PP is the one thing you never have enough of as a democracy.
The addition of Standard Oil don't hurt either, as long as you haven't filled that slot already.
It hurts that you can't have some of the FDR/Churchill stuff later with Alf, for 'flavor' if nothing else.

Just vote FDR back in at the 1940 election; you can still use the decisions then.

Not sure why you would ever pick Landon over Roosevelt if you're staying democratic. FDR's +10% Stability is just a no-brainer against Landon's +120 PP and Standard Oil with its +5% research speed, which you'll want to replace with General Motors anyway.

Picking Landon will net you less IC, equipment, and in the long term less PP as well.

Yah, I'd say stick with FDR for the stability.

As above, Standard oil isn't that great. FDR's infrastructure build speed may help you eventually once you run out of building slots and/or want to increase your resource production. The stability is also pretty solid, especially since you will eventually lose a fair chunk for being at war and giving refuge to scientists. Also afaik tends to have Congress have less movement, which is usually good since you likely have built up a solid amount of support.
