US boxed copy distribution

Its not just the US having trouble getting boxes, I got this email from amazon.co.uk;

"Hello,

We regret to inform you that your order will take longer to fulfill than originally estimated. Our supplier has notified us that there is a delay obtaining stock for the following items you ordered on August 08 2010.

"Victoria 2 (PC DVD)"

We are awaiting a revised estimate from our supplier, and will email you as soon as we receive this information."

For you who asked if this is true for Amazon, yes. Amazon in the US will not get any copies to send out sooner than any other US store.



I'm sorry but for a normal computer this is just not true. If this is accurate for your computer, something is probably wrong with your hard drive.

Yeah. Don't hard disks read faster then CD drives for the most part, anyway?

Regardless, Paradox games don't usually make me use the CD once it's installed, anyway. Unless something changed with Vicky 2
