1. The US ai is extremely passive. They have a superstack of about 70 divisions in washington despite being at war with Japan and Germany for four years now (its 1945).

2. Air power seems too strong. Is it historically accurate to be able to wipe divisions off the face of the earth with four squadrons of tactical bombers?

Has anyone else noticed this stuff?

Yes, it is, especially if that division is moving or (God help them) retreating, and if their AA is poor, and if the TAC have doctrines which improve the Ground Attack mission (that's in the CAS tree, IIRC).

The fact that they're about as cheap as infantry is less accurate.

1. have the exact thing happen to me in my 6 games (5 handsoff test games) i played, was the 36 scenario on normal/normal
all divisons from the US where in washington, they also had like 60 tps in new york doing nothing untill i quit the games of boredem in 49

but its not just the US ai, the british ai is not better.

landed in calais and manage to grab some provinces as canada but the british just did not move a single one of his 50 divisions in england (they even had 6 tps in norwich)

also in every game i played its japan winning in china, earliest was in 39

same with soviet. they keep losing every game i play cause of the bitter peace event which fires in 43-44

also the allies seam to be unable to ship troops into africa (especialy the british) to help in the defence of egypt.
if they succced in defending however they are unable to form new states, which would help the british ai since they don't have to spread their force all over africa.

2. agree the groundattack should get townd down alot, you can easily destroy ANY divison on the move with 4 bombers even if they have AA brigade.
