Urgent Question! Why does this happen!?

Im rather new to the game infact i got it 2 days ago. i already have 20 hours on it though. haha.
One thing i dont understand is im playing as integralist brazil and everytime i get into a war this happens.

I out number my enemy always. 2-1 3-1 sometimes even14-1 and its those that bother me. I am fighting an enemy 14 divisions versus 1. And I have Tac bombers bombing them yet MY units almost ALWAYS lose! Why!?
