Abertholl and his new Porc buddy stay and fight, though the Porc is only staying because Abertholl is staying.

((Why not, I'll stay))

((Good, 'cause then fun stuff can happen with you.))

Penn decides to stay and fight.

"I will hold you to that, "King"." Isengrim says and readies himself. He's staying.

Isegrim also stays and fights.

((All that's left is Sus. Gen Marshall, you staying or are you leaving? Also, is the Bullogre going to be helping you in this fight?))

Claud's Bullogre moves into the Enclave and sees that a huge fight is about to happen. He stands behind his master, ready and waiting for his command.

((So we just need to know Sus's position and we can begin combat for real :p))

((I'm probably not gonna be here when abertholl dies tomorrow or Saturday during this fight. As such I'll tell the story.))

Abertholl should use story time as soon as possible to gain insight on the baron. He tells this story now for it.

"Once upon a midnight dreary I sought a lass whom's cheeks were teary. Open upon a lonely house she hid away like a mouse. Through and new came of twilight and the broken shards of starry highlight. She spook of ill left mute of quill. If one could cure her ail they could have de greatest tale. Little fear in all the realm I found in the land of Cwealm. Dark and cold full of snow with the bark of dog for all the know. The lonely house full of evil made me snivel. Yet in said home was solitude for those without fortitude. Lonely lass in the land of withered grass. Confused I saw the pale bonnie lass with so little sass. All she did at first was ask, where do those alone go bask. In the glory of the gods away from the other sods. Oh lonely lass in the land of withered grass I offered ye a song of mirth near your hearth. Spiders etched across the wall and strange sounds from the hall. I sang for all so not to fall. To the home of night in that lonely house of twilight. I pleased the strange lass of Cwealm who was made whelm by emotions from a knavish dwarf as much as water on the wharf. Cruel abode turned gilded cage and the lass lost her rage. I woke from a daze to see the house once again in the haze. Then left from the evil realm of the land of Cwealm."

((That's an amazing story and worthy of a 20. I'm kind of worried that if I spoil the Baron now, that you guys will all flip and Sus will desert because of it... Oh well.))

Abertholl casts Story Time and with his Daredevil Attribute, he gets a 20 on the Story.

Abertholl immediately learns that Baron Varim is indeed Varr Micklestein, the Elf Noble Isengrim had learned about years ago. After a terrible incident involving Fleshweavers, his entire town and platoon was killed off and Varr was blamed for it. The Micklesteins disowned him and Varr became a destitute beggar for many years, until he found refuge and power with a Divine Being known as Timmy 'the Evil'.

Baron Varim has 4,000 Stamina. He is a Dread Knight, with a Robe of a Fallen Legend. His abilities are Summon Dreadbold, Deadly Preminition, Do or Die, Doom Counter and Arcane Bo- I mean, Unlucky Luck. He has 1 Move Action, 1 Basic Action, 3 Anytime Actions and 3 Chaos Actions every turn of combat.

((And now you all know why this is the hardest encounter.))

((Burning passion them twice before running up and hitting IH with a fatalistic fury))

Claud takes the initiative and casts Burning Passion twice.
KN8JbI5.png

(14)

The first Burning Passion hits, dealing 50 damage to both the Baron and Marcia. Marcia loses all her shield and takes 1 point of damage. Claud uses 3 Shield from Isengrim's Lifestone.
gITmmOl.png

(1) ((Wow, that's terrible))

Since Burning Passion is a new spell to Claud, he's overwhelmed by the power and is simply unable to cast it a 2nd time. Claud runs out of actions. ((This is not a good start for you guys.))
