In this game, a dual gauss wielding king crab in the hands of an experienced pilot is borderline OP... with a mech doing recon you can pretty much core everything in the in one go with those tasty 75 dmg. I do love the listed highlander and my objective atm is to farm one of them.

Highlander HGN-732B is my most beloved 'Mech too!:D

Edit: Also, if my BattleTech (base game) -> CityTech (Urban Warfare) analogy is true, the unnamed third expansion would be... *drumroll* AeroTech :)
Just so you know, it's entirely your fault that the logo for the 3rd expansion now looks to me like it has wings:

Funniest part? I didn't even know.

It's confirmed then folks: Expansion three is AeroTech. HBS is following the publication order of the original BattleTech.

2018:
BATTLETECH (BattleTech, 2nd Edition, 1985)
BATTLETECH: FLASHPOINT (The first two scenario books, Tales of the Black Widow Company and The Fox's Teeth, were both published in 1985)

2019:
URBAN WARFARE (CityTech, 1986)
EXPANSION 3 (AeroTech, 1986)

Would love to see Vtols and aircraft at some point along the line, and arty/air support. That would be a fairly interesting twist, though I would hope for AI improvements as well as that seems to me to be the weakest area of the game at this point. The CPU just does not know what to do alot of the time effective tactics wise. My other wish for down the line, is the entire inner sphere map along with the ability to actually make a difference if you ally with a house, being able to take territory for a house as if it's actually the succession war itself, much like how MPBT3025 worked or the sadly failed Multiplayer component of Mech Assault 2 Lone Wolf.

Unlikely any of these will be in URBAN WARFARE but here is what am hoping for will come down the road for it-

Valkyrie
Ostcout
Ostsol
Pheonix Hawk
Wasp
Stinger

This is probably impossible but would be cool to have infantry who attack from buildings. Just imagine the cockpit hits or a suddenly dispossesed mechwarrior all thanks to a lowly foot soldier with a portable srm 2. VTOLs and smoke rounds would also be highly interesting.

Current release battlemechs i will definitely be using in URBAN WARFARE are-

Firestarter, ah the thought of a city in flames just like in The Kentares Massacre of 2796 :)
Jenner, fast and flexible perfect for turning tight corners slipping like a cheetah from enemy crosshairs.
Panther, powerful, swift and even comes with jump jets for some Death From Above delight.
Stalker, now i can live the cover scene from the game box of CITYTECH.
Blackjack refitted with energy weapons and flamers for lethal close up action.
Shadowhawk with it's heavy hitting autocannon 5 to indulge the sniper in one's heart.
Hunchback because we all need a little horror in our lives as it suddenly appears at the end of a dark street.

You people are going to very disappointed when/if it turns out Expansion 3 is not AeroTech related.

Personally? I'm OK with it either way. More BattleTech is good, regardless of which aspect of it I get more of.

I have a feeling that the internal reaction over at HBS regarding my comment about "wings" on the logo would be something like...
Funniest part? I didn't even know.
Still... I can't unsee it.
