I played as King of Leon, and was attacking muslims in Holy War. Everything went OK, i was winning, until Christian Uprising happened. At first, i was like "Great, i have new allies now", but then the "Christian freedom fighters" started attacking my troops, and even reconquer holdings i took. And since they had like ten times more men, i lost. And ragequited.

I mean, this is not supposed to happen. For Example: When bohemian rebellion starts in german land, they should not attack armies of Bohemian king.

Similar thing happened to me in Iberia. Huge Catholic Uprising, 16000+ troops. Actually helped me a lot because they wiped out the African doomstacks, but they kept attacking my Catholic allies too so finally I killed them.

Would be nice if they were neutral to same religion. Or super cool if they joined my Holy War. I'd let them keep the land they took.

Rage quit because you lost one war? Really? I'm wonder what you're doing when you're having civil war : d

It's not about the war, I think.

I think he's pissed because the CHRISTIAN uprising attacked his CHRISTIAN troops instead of the MUSLIM enemy troops.

Christians should not be attacking neutral Christians. If anything they ought to be pseudo-allies against the common threat.

Or perhaps they wanted to become independent?
Anyway, when these kind of things happen, I let them fight each other and then attack when they are weakened.
I don't know, though, people here has been talking about how huge rebellions are and that they get crushed, I'm playing as my third liege from Castille (from Sancho II to his grandson) and there were lots of muslims rebelions and they were quite easy to put down.

Rebellions are easy to put down. But not when both sides are weakened by long, even war.

It's not about independence, it's about common enemy. I agree, after winning the war, rebel's leader should appear at court, with strong claim on counties his rebel army took.

I had the same problem. I was in a holy war for Toledo as Castille that raged for over ten years with both sides calling in many allies. I finally destroyed their main army with a very close battle leaving just enough troops to siege their remaining holdings and then a Catholic uprising appeared and destroyed my forces. A Catholic uprising destroyed my Catholic army during a holy war against Muslims. Not very Christian of them if I may say so.

Well, maybe they want control by local Catholics? They put a lot of effort into gathering their 20,000 troops (I mean really, that's more than the HRE can summon ;) ), and they'll be damned if some foreign king's gonna take advantage of their risk!

I wonder if they allow you to join their war?

Yeah the CBs these rebellions use are set as hostile_against_others so they indiscriminately attack other hostiles of the target. It's one of the things I modded out for religious revolters.
You did that in 00_cb_types.txt?

I thought you guys were exaggerating these revolts. I fired it up for the first time since the patch came out.....

Wow....
