Upper Hungary Overhaul

First and foremost I would like to tag @Servancour
Thank you for fixing Danube river in the future patch. Much appreciated.

I would like to point some discrepencies regarding upper part of Hungary. Becase it's inaccurate and I'm living in this region so it's easy to help to iprove accuracy and errors. I know that map updates are not very popular in CK2 department but I think that correct map can improve overall experience. I will Cover only Upper Hungary. Hopefully somebody from Hungary can reply to this and add the rest of it.
I will brake it to few sections so it's easy to read.

Section [Province Names]
1. Pressburg
- Hungarian translation: Pozsony
- Slavic Translation: Presporok [Prešporok]
- German Translation: Pressburrg

2. Nitra
- Hungarian translation: Nyitra
- Slavic Translation: Nitra
- German Translation: Neutra

3. Trencin
- Hungarian translation: Trencsen [Trencsén]
- Slavic Translation: Trencin [Trenčín]
- German Translation: Trentschin

4. Arva
- Hungarian translation: Arva [Árva]
- Slavic Translation: Orava (Right now "Zvolen", this is inccorrect because Zvolen is city far from this province)
- German Translation: Arwa

5. Gömör
- Hungarian translation: Gomor [Gömör]
- Slavic Translation: Gemer
- German Translation: Gemer

6. Spis
- Hungarian translation: Szepes
- Slavic Translation: Spis [Spiš]
- German Translation: Zips

7. Abauj
- Hungarian translation: Abauj [Abaúj]
- Slavic Translation: Abov
- German Translation: Neuburg or Abaujwar

8. Bereg
- Hungarian translation: Bereg
- Slavic Translation: Berehovo
- German Translation: Berg

9. Esztergom
- Hungarian translation: Esztergom
- Slavic Translation: Ostrihom

Section [Province Coat of Arms]
I see that you are using the coat of arms of cities in each provinces. So I'll stick to it.

1. Pressburg
Correct coat of Arms. Possition of castle in coat of arms needs to be adjusted so it looks good. Right now it barely visible.

2. Nitra
Correct coat of arms. No changes needed.

3. Trencin
Correct coat of arms. No changes needed.

4. Arva
InCorrect coat of arms.This coat of arms belongs to city called Zvolen. Zvolen is not in Arva region so it should not be there.

This is coat of arms of village where the castle is. Or we can use original Coat of arms of county which is this one: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5b/Orava_coatofarms.jpg

I read about that this county/province was small so it was part of Zvolen County. If this is the case and we are using Zvolen as a city here. In case that we are accepting that this province is Zvolen then translations of this Province will be:
- Hungarian translation: Zolyom [Zólyom]
- Slavic Translation: Zvolen
- German Translation: Sohl

5. Gömör
Correct coat of arms. No changes needed.

6. Spis
Acceptable if we stick to Coat of Arms of cities in the region

7. Abauj
Acceptable if we stick to Coat of Arms of cities in the region

8. Bereg
Acceptable

9. Esztergom
Correct coat of arms. No changes needed.

I can add to more to this topic if there is any interest from dev perspective. I mentioned only easy changes. For instance I can draw province shapes so it is more accurete. Because right now the provinces and cities that should be in those provinces are off. Also if anybody can add to this topic or correct me if I said something wrong I'll be happy.

Also Province Nitra should be Part of Moravia in early start. You know Principality of Nitra and Principality of Moravia are founders of Great Moravia so you basically can't exclude Nitra from it.

Hello, I was just going to create the new topic but X-Factor made a good job . By now, I have played almost 500 hours as bohemian (different bookmarks, counties, more than 15 games) in current Slovakia region. Just a few days ago I started another game with great new DLC Monks and Mystics (it is awesome DLC actually).

I just want to add few comments. I'd like to say that everything I write is checked by historical documents and I am able to provide those to PDX team anytime. I.e. as I did in EU IV case https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...k-culture-perhaps.853741/page-6#post-20321469 (X-Factor was also present at that discusion) my suggestions were later added to the game and I was in conversation with Trin Tragula about other details

1. I am glad that titular kingdom of Great Moravia is available again. As X-Factor said, Duchy of Nitra Should be part of it - (not de iure, but as "create condition")

2. There is no historical evidence that Mojmirid ruled duchy of Nitra before 833. Ruler of DoNitra, at 769 bookmark, have to be "z Nitrava" Family (same as Balaton Ruler in 867 bookmark". I presonnaly always rename that family to House of Pribinid. Mojmir I - Mojmirovci (SK)/Mojmirid (EN) ... Pribina I - Pribinovci(SK)/Pribinid(EN).

3. I always rename Árva/Orava Region to Lipót/Liptov/Liptau https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liptov - use CoA

4. Here is map of counties of Kindom of Hungary https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Count...y#/media/File:Kingdom_of_Hungary_counties.svg

5. New map in v 2.7 hase Estergom/Ostrihom Province north from Danube - that is incorrect as you can see in map from point. 4. I suggest using Komárom/Komárno (its on both sides of river and Esztergom should be temple in that province.

7. Name of Low Silesia Province is a total mistake
a) I didn't find any historical evidence that this region was ever! part of Duchy of Silesia nor Kindom of Poland https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lands_of_the_Bohemian_Crown . This province also can't be named as WhateverSilesia because is core part of Bohemian lands!

8. Name of Znojmo province is a total mistake. Localization is ok but Province name is Czech (but in reality Znojmo is in current Brno province) and also all holdings have Czech names what is simply mistake.
