I'm supposing here that the cost of a 5 star advisor will work like a 1 to 3 star advisor, ie exponentially increasing.
But simple question, does a discounted minister (recruit from Estates) carry the (sizable) discount to the salary to the promotion cost ?
-A five level advisor would cost in 1444 25 ducats per month
-A three level advisor would cost in 1444 9 ducats per month
-A three level advisor estate recruited would cost in 1444 4.5 ducats per month
The ''five years of his salary'' for promotion alone make the discounted three star dude from the estate a very sexy bachelor. But if the game have him carry the ''half salary'' across the promotions, this means the base cost following current model would be 13.5 ducats per month for a 5 star minister (imagine now a savy Catholic player rolling Full Innovative, Curia Control, Espionnage first idea that no one ever takes, Advisor Cost Reduction from parliament...)
TLDR : there is an extremely basic and dirt cheap estate interaction (not to mention Innovative or the pretty useful parliament ruling) that can lower significantly the cost of this feature, and make it less a ''money sink'' than a ''MP fountain''
