This will mod the Build names for the German units for increased clarity and information. I have kept all the v1.02 names that Paradox used if they were available.

The autoinstaller is a word document with a macro they will replace all your MODEL_GER_ with the new ones.

Download the mod here(with Screenshots): www.pureperformance.com/newunits.asp

Only tested on North American version. If you have text.csv from another version I would like it to test.

Some examples from the file(not complete list):

Suggestion

I think that it might look better should the Tiger II be renamed Konigstiger (King Tiger), as this is what it was generally called by the crews who manned it (plus it looks spiffier then Tiger II).

PS. Shouldn't the pre-war fighter (developed before 1936) be something like the He 51B-1 (Heinkel biplane fighter)? The Bf 109 just came out in the mid 30's or so, and was not in large service in 1936 (much like the Hurricane and Spitfire).

I'm running windows ME and downloaded and auto-installed the mod this afternoon. Had 2 CDTs this evening playing germany; normal/normal; 1936 scenario at the same timespot- Aug 14 or 15, 1936.
First CDT I've had with HOI, so its a possible that the mod did it.
Really liked it tho.

I agree whole heartedly about replacing the Bf109B with the He 51 biplane. In fact it was the first mod I made to the 1.02 text.csv file.

When I first played the '36 campaign in 1.02, I thought Germany started the scenario with the ability to produce basic fighters b/c when I think pre-war I think biplane. I am of the opinion that pretty much every nation's prewar aircraft should be biplanes.
