Good for Xbox One players. I really don't understand this almost pathological hatred of consoles that some members of the PC community have. I mean, we're all still gamers, right?

NO! They are inferior! We are glorious PC master race with uber machines that can run big cities and have proper controller support.

There aren't enough keys on a full keyboard for all the key-bind shortcuts on PC, how on Earth would this work on an Xbox pad? It only has... um... 14 buttons? Our pad is in the cupboard so I can't see it from here. Definitely not enough buttons though. This isn't the most concerning factor however:

How would Workshop content work? Or wouldn't it? I mean for something like a straight up multiplayer shooter like Call of Warfare, Modern Tank World 7 (heh) where there's no 67 million modifications and custom assets it's quite easy to stretch over all the platforms, but when your game has an existing user base who all love the Steam Workshop, the editing tools, the endless clicking to place a tree in just the right place... I just don't see how it would work to be honest.

Sooooooooooo... Is this a cancelled project or something?

I know how you feel. It's been almost a year and absolutely nothing. It's starting to look like vaporware. I don't think it took CO this long to create the game in the first place. lol

If you have mouse and keyboard support for Xbox one version, then why not. But i don`t understand how you are able to play this enjoyably with controller....
Also, can Xbox one even handle large cities?

The xbox come with an 8-core processor. The graphics are low, but should handle the game to the default 9-tiles.

I don't know if it will reply on keyboard and mouse. 99% of xbox users won't have one and most not willing to fork out the dough for one just to play this game. I'm sure it will be 100% controller controlled with possible keyboard and mouse support. Likely little to no workshop, especially if it doesn't use steam, which I'm sure it will use it's own MS store/server.

This port has bad idea written all over it. I just don't see it working out. Maybe even get a new name so people don't get too high of an expectation. Cities: Skylines - Xbox Edition?

Any news? My PC can't handle Cities Skylines and I am very excited to finally be able to play it on Xbox :(.
I don't think that it will run much better on the Xbox. It's really not that powerful.

For the news part: You can hope to see some info when it's time for Gamescom... Or maybe not. I was wrong with E3 so I might be again. My bet is that they already have serious performance issues, and so the launch is delayed. (Or they just have something like one guy working on the port outside of Colossal Order.)
