Seeing that you are unmerged (doubt you'd choose to keep that placeholder name) that might well be the reason.
Also @TinyWiking I thought that people weren't supposed to be able to post when not merged, but I know for a fact that one person was able to do it despite being unmerged (and he did it a few days ago...) and unmerged(91227) appears to be able to do it too.

Unmerged accounts aren't able to post so I think you may be incorrect. Furthermore if you do see someone making a post with the name unmerged it probably means they've merged but the database hasn't updated their new name (unmerged(91227) doesn't exist in my records for example).

If you are merged why are you then asked to make a paradox account when trying to visit the profile page linked below? And why would it say you didn't have an account? That sounds really much like being unmerged to me. And I know a user who around a week ago could both post in threads and PM me despite being prompted to make a paradox account when trying to visit that page. And I just checked the time stamps and at the time he posted in threads and sent the first few PMs to me about how to get merged, he hadn't created that account on the profile page.

So this wasn't a case of somebody named unmerged posting, since he hadn't been scrambled as it was before the 12th. It was the case of a long time user returning and posing plus PMing me about how to get merged, and being able to do both despite not having created that account he was prompted to do from the profile link.
To me that sounds like an unmerged account posting, but could be something else of course, but why would he then be told he had no account and needed to create one when visiting the profile page?
@TinyWiking any update to what's going on with the DLC's for connecting our accounts? Would paradox have a problem if people acquired them via p2p?
Look on the pictures in the opening post.
You connect your Paradox account ( access top right, click email address) with Steam and then synchronise your Owned Items (via your account name also pretty top right).

Yeah, I'm quite the novice at this, but, I managed to figure it out. Nonetheless, thank you.
I tried syncing my steam account just now and I get none of the paradox games in my owned list. Also tried disconnecting and connecting again to steam. Any heads up? What am I doing wrong?
You've also then hit the Sync Owned Items button, yes? If you've linked to the right Steam account then done that, it really should work.
yes but then nothing happens. It says it could take up to an hour, i still have the tab open in my browser.. zero games.

What is your actual problem, please? You can see you have many games registered here successfully.
I recently noticed that I receive following text:
"to view and participate in sub Forums, you must Register your base game." from two games "Crusader Kings II" and "Stellaris" even when I do have both marked as owned in my Steam account when logged through Paradox Account. I can even start both games from my Paradox Account as well as browse all sub forums for these games.
This is a cosmetic bug for me and I hope you can sort this out in good time.
