I have tried to patch to 1.1 (currently at 1.07) but I cannot because every time i try to install the patch, it aborts the installation because it says the program is not installed on my computer, even though it is and I have played the game, so i know it works. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Dunno what it can be, but my advise is to uninstall your 1.07 and EU and then reinstall EU. When you ahve installed the original version from the disc, install 1.10.

Well the thing is when I installed it the first time, it was already updated to its current state (dont ask me why). Besides, the installer doesnt even detect the game on my computer. Any thoughts?

Have you perhaps tried reinstalling it? I think that's an option on the autorun screen thingy.

EDIT: er, never mind. It isn't. But you could still reinstall it.

Depending on when your copy of EU was produced, it may already be patched to a different version than 1.00. Like everyone else says, uninstall the game. Reinstall and then patch to 1.10. If that fails to work, try and redownload 1.10, you may have gotten a corrupted file. Better still, redownload first and try that and you can avoid the lengthy reinstallation process. Its lengthy on my slow machine.

It might be that it doesn't show up on your register. You could manually enter the data there though...if you know how to do that and what to type there.

I got the same problem. It seems that my EU is somehow from Germany (but with English text). When I tried to use the NA patch, it didnt even recognized the game. Had to use German version. Then convert the text back to English. Just download 1.10 patch for every language of the game and try all of them.

I think there's a link to an English database in download section (for converting text back to English). Check it out.

Or maybe you have an riped illegal copy of the game?

I need help with a very similar issue...

I bought the CD which was already patched to 1.07 (b, I think). The CD is plainly marked "English Version". The 1.10 North America version does not install (of course!), but the UK version does....

The problem is, the game can't find the CD (even when I start up via autoplay.exe!!!). I have a CD-R and CD-RW, does the same thing in both drives.

I'm betting this is a previously-resolved-problem, but I have not found the answer. Any help??

Ask in the EU2 support forum, I'm sure Castellon can help u.
