Can you please REMOVE Gate storage period ? Now that you can build a colony anywhere on the map, it's pointless to have colonists running all the way back to the gate to get stuff, especially gate storage has highest priority.

Also can you have colonists that reach 50% health to drop what they may have and run away and have a Specialist intercept the attacker ? Otherwise allow me to control the colonist that's under attack ?

Over all, this was a great up date.

I’m really digging the updates but now I’m getting a crash every time there is a meteor storm. I’m stuck in a loop of loading and crashing on one game in particular. It appears the meteor shower is just doing too much.

This is super important. It is terrible when colonists are getting attacked far away and a specialist has no way of getting there in time.

I bought this game several months ago on Epic, just for the support. I still can't get myself to launch it though, and these massive patches don't really help. Obviously they are great gamewise and demonstrate your efforts, but always terrify me. I fear that the game i will try to play will be quite incomplete. I honestly wonder about the game's condition back when it was first released as a beta ! Should i try this, or just wait?
I would wait. The frequency of crashes is so much of a pain it makes it difficult to enjoy. Even with auto save on 5 minutes, I’m still loading a save every 15 mins or so from a crash. It gets old quick. I’d wait for a stability update.

I'm sure you guys have already had plenty of feedback regarding the crashes when there's a catastrophe or simply going to your survivor screen, but I'm wondering if you have any idea when this will be fixed?

I've stuck it out all day and rebooted almost every time one of the above happens. It's just getting a bit annoying. All I want to do is play the game. I love it it's just very hard to enjoy when most of your time is spent panicking whether your going to crash or should I say when.
Thanks.x

Before the storm hits move Ur camera to the top corner of the map and as close to the ground as possible. It worked for me. Hopefully it works for u

Thanks. I did this and got through the storm. Lots went wrong though since I couldn’t interact during it.
I'm still struggling through myself. Every 20 minutes or so my game crashes so I'm saving and saving then saving again. I really hope they sort it soon. Another thing I noticed is if you save just as you receive the notification the the survivalists are ready, wait until the "game saved" has gone off your screen and then go to the survivalists map. Also pause time when you do it. It works better for me. I don't suppose your on an original Xbox one?

Yes. Xbox one, not s or x. I’ve found putting the auto save on 5 minutes is a lifesaver. Also, not trying to rush anything. When it has too many things to process it crashes for sure. Mostly when a disaster occurs and always on the colony screen. The world map never has problems.

Hi Jard, I tend to find this same problem early game when I don't have many free carriers. Late game you need plenty of carriers free because there are so many building outputs to pick up.

I have found the late game the opposite, I find I become careless, especially now with ranches. I would recommend focusing one or two commodities and using trade late game. E.g Venison, Fibre, Flour, you can easily get an abundance to trade for the items that are colonist intensive which frees up more carriers.
Hi najmir, thank you for your reply! What was crazy to me was that i had up to 11 carriers at one point with a colony of 60 people and was yet to see one carrier go and grab food from any area. i spent my whole time playing wondering why there was never any food being picked up. I am not gonna argue because you might be right. if you got 30 carriers standing around doing nothing maybe they do go and grab the food. but i have yet to see one carrier pick up the food so my best guess is that it is some kind of game bug. If not though, i definitely urge that they make some changes because i have not opened the game since i noticed this problem and i plan to not reopen it until a patch or update.

Also i have yet to experience a crash in my whole time of playing this game and update. Could it be that they made something more intense and some people's computers just cannot run it? But really is nobody else having this food problem where your workers in fields or carriers just do not pick up the food? I would appreciate more replies to this comment!

Quick update, started a new game and focused fields. Everything was fine until last load. Now I experience the same issue as Jard. Not only they but roads stopped building. Out of 30 odd colonists I had 9 free. They stopped sometime after I put in a Lightning rod and ran out of Parts. Then had a mag storm. Since the mag storm and part shortage, lots of wasting food at the fields. Will see what happens after load tonight.

They got way too many complaints to have not of fixed anything. I am sure they are just trying to keep things positive. They had new stuff they wanted to push out but i really do feel that they need to spend a month and improve all of the things that players are experiencing. But hey, give them some credit. They listen to their community and actually care what the players of their game think and that is way more than any other company has ever done so props to them on that as well.

They still have not fixed food, although they have made it better, and that has been a problem for several months.
