Thanks! Now I know why the hell my trade missions never work out. For me. They work out fine for the guy I'm visiting, but I never get a return on my investment. And if I bring the damn priests along, they piss my potential trade partner off and I now have a new enemy.

New DLC coming? PLEASE be a 633 start date! It has to be big, if it's "Something you've wanted to do for a long time."
Somehow I doubt thats it. I could make some guesses, but I'd probably be wrong.

Please no... CK2 is about the high middle ages... Not about migration era... When did people release that 'the middle ages' are not one era but many eras? And the migration era don't fit into CK2 system. CK2 system is about the later middle ages post-charlemagne.
How about a 1522 start? Hire Da Vinci to draw pictures for your new built church.
Two other things that come to mind:
1. The Kingdom of Jerusalem does not see de jure drift, fine. But if you create the Kingdom of Israel, you end up with a capital which will never de jure drift into your realm! Please, either permit the KoJ to be named KoI if created by a Jew, and amend the CoA accordingly, or permit this drift if Jewish.
2. My rabbis apparently construct church walls, monastery schools and whatnot. Not only are half of them sitting on synagogues/temples converted from mosques, but the name is odd regardless!

At Pdxcon (in a twitch stream) Doomdark mentioned it would be along the lines of Legacy of Rome and Sons of Abraham, or I would be worried they were lining up yet another pointless timeline extension.

So 1516 as end date would be nice. It would allow us to play the Borgias and hire Da Vinci too!
At first after reading the first post I had thought I had somehow missed the announcement of a new DLC. I knew they were working on one but the first post gave me the idea that they had already revealed what it was. Glad I'm not THAT far out of the loop.

It seems as if this patch was announced due to the amount of backlash Johan Lerström got for saying "the game is stable, we don't need to patch it at this point".
So it really is the contrary.
