Regarding the screenshots, can I inquire why the Soviet Union in 1950 is Lib. Soc. (it never really liberalised) with Vyacheslav Molotov and Kalinin? Stalin died in 1953, so it really ought to be Tot. Soc, HOS - Kalinin, HOG - Stalin, possibly FM (a crude approximation of his position) - Molotov?

No,I changed it to Lib.Socialist just to show what I've modified.Also,guys,sorry for not updating a while,but my PC restarts all the time.Once I fix this problem,I will further work on the mod.

Sorry to be such an arrogant pedant, right-ho, bring on the Cold War! Incidentally, what scope for alternate history do we have?
 
Well looking at the thread first thing I have to say is good job, I love the idea of a Cold War mod, and here are some points I would like to bring up (terribly sorry if they have already been addressed).

1. While I only played one game, as West Germany to about 1960 so far the tech tree (for west Germany at least) was messed up, several early technologies are unresearched, preventing Germany from doing anything until some very basic stuff (which I was able to research in a few days each) has been researched.

2. While on the topic of the tech tree I think you should rework it, extend it into the 1990s and even into the early 2000s, even if for most techs you do nothing but rename them and slide the date forward and every country back (eg. you don't need to create a new 1970s MBT tech, just slide everything back so WW1 tank is early WW2 tanks, and 1960s tank is a 1990s tank).

3. No offense but the campaign is boring it needs events, the Korean war, Vietnam, Afghanistan, revolutions, coups, border conflicts, economic events, there are tons of events that could be made. If you are unable to make events you could probably gather a small team, or just let anyone submit an event, you can add it, test it, and if it works add it to the newest version.
 
First: I will be happy if this mod is done.
Second: I will try to help you with wathever research information you may need. I can't code events, but I'm eager to learn.
Third: why don't contact with Kretoxian, he was the leader of the Cold War Mod for Hearts Of Iron 2. If he wants, he may gave to you all of the mod's content he have, so you don't have to start from zero.

The pictures are excellent and the mod sounds very good, but I've to say that you have an error: the Finnish province of Petsamo, was occupied as war demands by the URSS at the end of the Continuation War. Also, I don't know if the Finnish province of Salla (now it's Finland but after Winter War in the game is occupied by the Ruskies) it's in the hands of the brave Finns or the Ruskies.
