Well occupy Wall Street have spawned a worldwide effort to highlight the callous nature of modern society and corporations that are in control of the USA and various nation states across the world. That said though, it seems that nothing will happen at this rate. The police force made a good job of crushing democracy and free speech.

apparently a couple people were shot within the protests in the last couple of days... although not by police and they're not sure if the people who were shot were even protestors.

At the same time in occupy St Paul, a fascist group called the EDL(English Defense League) attacked the protesters in their tents and stamped on their heads. a few days ago the police arrested around 400~ people, (numbers change depending on the sources so I can't find a real number), who was part of the EDL regardless if they were there or not.

Is this a good thing? Maybe. but mass arrests should also be seen as a bad thing no matter who or what they people their arresting believes. after all, `They came for the Jews..`

Occupy Melbourne has exploded to almost a couple dozen people. Who were asked to get out of the park because they were damaging the lawn. By four council workers. Then the police arrested a few for ignoring a council declaration. Then they sang a song to the mayor. Generally no one in Australia gives a (Please choose an expletive). Says something about us eh mate?

I am not surprised considering you are the birth country of Rupert Murdoch. I despise him and his media empire. He is in some hot water now in the UK and it might be spreading to his other news corporations. (Fox news is one of them and He Controls around 80% of the media in Australia)

Through to be fair, since we're starting in the 1990s, when the Yugoslav wars were taking place, for some new nation to be formed if one sides unifies the former Yugoslav republics.

Also what's the end date in this mod?

If you changed your mind about not adding the Arab Spring in this mod, make it like this: protests happen causing dissent to rise and you get various choices to submit to their protests and change the government, or refuse, the more you refuse the higher risk there is of a violent revolt(dissent & revoltorisk increases with every refusal) and a % of your troops deflecting to the rebels. Not sure about how to handle the no-fly zone in Libya through.

Also why aren't you adding WW3 events? Only this time, make the tensions based in the Middle East potential candidates for large wars.

Agree with this, through it's just a dissent rise and perhaps a hit on your economy if the protests persist.

ww3 starts with Iran and Syria and drags china and russia. Or starts in pakistan and drags china then middle east sets on fire as iran and israel take it out

If there was a Libya no fly zone make a province in Siscily with an airport temperarily become its own nation with a large modern airforce and a garison division and program the AI to not build anything and receive off map supplies and oil. Make it non allinged and at war with Libya and it is to be annexed back into Italy once one of the sides is anexed.

For WW3 don't make an event chain that occurs at a certain date, rather make several "worst case" scenarios resolving around many of the existing tensions in the world(ie: Iran and Israel, India vs Pakistan) which could drag thethe major players of the world stage into war.
