Up to date w/ Mod; Crashes on "Play!" in character selection

I have 2.4.5 installed and the latest version of Elder Kings. I am trying to make a custom King of Hafingaar(??) to conquer Skyrim and crown myself High King by retrieving the Jagged Crown. The problem is, I crash when I press play. I have all DLC except for Reaper's Due, Sword of Islam, and Sons of Abraham. How do I fix this? I'm trying 2.5.2 rn to see if it works. Could be that Hafingaar is bugged.

When you say "latest version" do you mean the most recent public installer version (0.1.6) or the most recent SVN revision? If it's the latter, don't use any SVN revision past 697.

It's the public installer. I havent taken chances w/ SVN because I dont want to mess up my PC.

Found out why it crashes. Bought all portraits EXCEPT for Mongol. Might be why some Heartlanders' faces are messed up a bit. Cant believe I didnt notice!
