Ok, so I did the playthrough and I never came to the Vellum Citadel and thus never got to resolve the Edict of Fire. my game (first and only playthrough so far) I sided with the Disfavored and killed The other whats his name Arcon, and all that. But I never came to the Vellum place and didnt get the chance to play anything there or resolve the Edict of Fire... If I remember correctly I got the chance to choose to go to 2 places in the middle of the game roughly by Graven Ash and 1 of them was Vellum. Chose the other obviously and never got the chance. Any insight on what I did wrong? Or how did any of YOU get there? In that case, did something lock out on you aswel?

Since there is an achievement of resolving all edicts I know its possible.

I sided with the Disfavoured and chose the Burning Library over Lethian's Crossing. I didn't get the LC questline, so got the spire and that's it for LC, but I got to resolve the Library edict. If you want to solve all the edicts, it seems you have to choose the library over LC or be locked out.

Same its probably only possible in Chaotic or Coalition playthroughs.

Yeah I imagine depending on your choices if you side with nerat or disfavored you can't get all edicts. The solo route all of the edict area's are open to you.

Issue you are locked out of ashe and nerats area's you will never talk to nerat or ashe since they would kill you on sight.

If you sided with disfavored and want to remove storm edict without killing baby then speak with Ashe he will send you to library without any other choice.

i think obsidian did a witcher 2 act 2 thing where you choose where you are going and then the other option becomes unavailable, you'll prolly need to replay the game and choose to go to vellum for that option though the content related to the other option will be "blocked".

please make note that i said i *think* that is the case so dont assume that what i wrote is set in stone.

This is the case indeed.
Essentialy, you have 4 regions in tyranny and you can finish main quests in only 3 of them.

Hope thats not true... blocking some land sounds weak in my opinion. Why wouldnt I go there to end the edict regardles... Specially when im an Arcon in my own right and not a pawn.

Er I actually think the PC IS a pawn in a bigger game actually.
That may be true... but there is no reason to NOT go and resolve the laste edict in a land you now own.... atleast to the extent or your (player) knowledge and those around you. Why on earth would someone like that just "leave" a ravaging edict of fire continue when you have the power to end it. I can understand when you act on behalf of Tunon and more or less work under one of the two Arcons, but when you are declared Arcon youself and in the aftermath there is no logic to leave it be. Atleast thats what I think

@bennibb
its not a weak point, they consciously did it, you make a choice and then have to live with it. like the choices you make in the conquest.

you can try to do what @Vind7 wrote and not resolve in edict of storm in stalwart by killing the baby or make amelia denounce the regent title, and maybe ashe will send you there.

tbh i myself was puzzeled i couldnt resolve the edict of fire since i want to see what vellum had to offer, guess i'll have to replay the game at some point.

Yes... it IS a weak point. You are free to do as you please, so why oh why do you not want to resolve the last edict? Its not like there is a time limit... you just dont do it. In the post "text" Its said you never did resolve it and they hated you for it (they beeing the guilds and ppl in the area). You have to power, you have the time. Flawed. plain and simple. Atleast make the end text so that you resolved it post game but the damage was to huge to rebuild or something.

Go to the library while also activating the quest line for Lethian's Crossing via the console. The question is if that is actually viable since stratigo just claimed they lock you out of the library on a playthrough as a rebel and other information say you are locked out of it if you side with the voices and others claim that if you take the library over Lethian's crossing then the questline there will be basically finished before you arrive.

untrue, if you remove the edict of fire yes you could get that knowledge but so could others but maybe you are a dick that doesnt think thats a good enough tradeoff and dont want any other than yourself to be able to posses that lost power.

what is untrue? the way they resolved it was a huge glitch and a major weak point. its only 1 possible ending... you neglected 1 of the zones... and never botherd to resolve it in the future either. So regardles of what kinda char you wanted to play, bad, lazy, lawfull, evil,di.k, or whatever... you simply "forget" that a whole county or whatever is on forever fire or forever stormy. Dont tell me that is not an error. You never get to deside. Like I said, IF they wrote the end like you reesolved it later (could be done with a simple talk from a comp before the end: Hey, what about Vellum/Stallward) that would be ok. But no way do you leave an edict under the power of your now mortal enemy Kyros active in your sphere of power
