There's another problem with adultery - it's considered a crime if you've got the fornicator trait and your liege lord can revoke your titles for that...which is pretty absurd right off the bat. What makes it even more absurd is if the liege lord tries to revoke a title because of it - he CAN get deposed as the ruler of his own titles if he LOSES the revocation war. That's a pretty huge penalty...way out of proportion for adultery. My de Bayeux countess had the Fornicator trait and two successive de Normandie dukes of Normandy tried to revoke her title to Bayeux and lost both times..each of them getting deposed in favor of his heir each time in succession.
After that is changeable, with the different punishments for adultery in the religion table.

Imo I don't have much problem with adultery that the AI actually seduced my wife, that's realistic and fair game.

What I have problem is an event that reality warp and change the actual father of character long after it's established that they are my children(even with debug mode on) and change retrospectively, that's unrealistic just a cheat/pun intended lol.

Precisely! If it's a case of "Doubts beset me", that's entirely acceptable, and there would be room for the player to RP it. But this Disputed Blood Issue literally ignores the Spouses, and unilaterally foists a bastard on you, whether you did anything or not. In a game where we are supposedly encouraged to Role Play, this is anathema.

If there has been seduction, the Debug Mode would show it, and it's telling that the Game only switches the parents out after it has delegitimized the child. Any other Game or situation, this would be cheating of the rankest magnitude, and it should not be tolerated.

Only if adultery is Criminal, which it is usually not for men.

If a vassal rises in rebellion at the perceived tyranny of their liege lord then I think it makes sense that the liege is deposed if he loses against the rebellion, no?

And second, adultery is too trivial to revoke titles over especially if the liege lord had zero connection to either adulterous party which was the case for my countess. (it was with one of Countess Gytha of Devon's sons who engaged in adultery with my countess)
Whether it's too trivial or not is set by the religion's adultery "laws," change those and then the consequences of adultery change.

Yeah no, first time I went for Soulmate with my wife I hoped it would stop that and NOPE about a year later she was "sneaking off" and confronting her revealed she was hooking up with my new Court Physician who'd just been hired. Who wasn't even like a Seducer or anything, old one-legged dude. Then she got pregnant with his kid... ugly ugly situation
Stuff like that is just too messed up for me. Like, I had my 16 year old son who was Beautiful get a lover who was an 82 year old woman with no title or particularly interesting traits.

It would have been funny if that were a one-off thing, but it's not. In no world do young Brad Pitt equivalents go out and get into love affairs with wrinkled up grandmas who are about to die of old age.

Try to Romance your wife, instead of seducing. Romance leads to Soulmates, and supposedly, that means they will not have an affair.

I've seen at least one post where someone claimed that even having someone as a soulmate doesn't seem to significantly reduce the odds of unfaithfulness. And of course taking that approach wouldn't affect the issue of everyone else's spouses sleeping with everything that has a pulse.

In 1066 start after 200 years im yet to have a wife that did not became an adulterer at some point. Its not that bad since i can easily control how many heirs pop up by sending her to jail and get a stats wife arround 50

If I would bother I could probably arrest almost the whole female population of my realm. Is there a jail building to expand capacity?

Yeah, this needs some bit tone down. I'v played through the lives of three kings and for all of them their heir wasn't really theirs (two had Disputed heritages sons and the third had a hook on his own mother, who even was a Soulmate of his father, because he discovered that he himself was a secret bastard). This is just ridiculous.

it's considered a crime if you've got the fornicator trait and your liege lord can revoke your titles for that
For Catholics, this is only true if you're a woman.

Male Adultery is merely Shunned – people will look down on you for it and you'll lose a rank of Devotion, but you won't be flagged as a criminal (unless you were boning your liege's wife).

Playing in India now and I could legally imprison half my court and several vassals for adultery. I could even revoke the titles of said vassals without it being considered tyranny. It has gotten to the point were I get constantly spammed about affairs in my realm, a realm where adultery is 100% illegal.

Are we talking about the medevil period? When they wrote long form poetry about the joys of romancing/fucking other mens wives as standard fare?

The real problem is you can romance your wife, since the romance thing represents courtly love.

Absolutely, I don't think so far any of my spouses has been loyal and I always make them at least my lover. A particular one comes to mind that was soulmates with my ruler at the time and yet I got message after message of children's heritage being disputed. At least five of our children turned out to be someone else's.

The game, as it is, is massively oversexed especially given the historical context. Please keep in mind that the "sexual liberation" and promiscuity is a very modern thing, back then adultery not only was a huge taboo, it usually was very drastically punished as well. Plus, in a game that's all about family lineage it's not exactly fun to learn that your heir actually was never yours and thus the family line has been broken, and this happens with such a ridiculous frequency...

At the VERY least the chance of a spouse accepting a seduction attempt while they're in a lover or even soulmate relationship with the one they're married to needs a massive hit. When soulmates, it should be downright impossible for them to cheat at all. I don't have the game open right now but I remember the description was something like "a very profound, deep romantic connection ... you can only have one soulmate at a time". Yet they'll then go about cheating at the drop of a hat. How does that make sense?

And second, adultery is too trivial to revoke titles over especially if the liege lord had zero connection to either adulterous party which was the case for my countess.
I wouldn't say that it's trivial. At least not in Catholicism. In some religions it might be, but in Catholicism in the middle ages most certainly not. Adultery literally was a capital offense and the two lovers would be put into a ground, planks put above them, and then they'd be buried alive.

And the 1241 Jutlandic Law literally allows any man to legally murder an adulterer he catches in bed with his wife. All he needs to do is then to bring the bloody sheets to the Thing as proof.

Whether any titles were revoked for adultery historically I don't know. But people were literally killed for it, so I don't think losing titles is too far fetched. Though I guess we could argue that titles should be kept, but the character rather should be killed.

In 1066 start after 200 years im yet to have a wife that did not became an adulterer at some point. Its not that bad since i can easily control how many heirs pop up by sending her to jail and get a stats wife arround 50

My family's congenital traits of being quick and herculean were destroyed by the number of cuckoos in the nest. :(
Hmm, I've seen plenty of adultery, but not that bad. I managed to breed all three traits into my family and to the point where a significant amount of the children coming out now are Inbred (but not a single Pure-Blooded one yet :( ). Just make sure you marry them off as soon as they hit 16, they'll have at least some legitimate children. :)
