Just wondering what determines where it decides what has been read by me, often the whole forum is marked as read, it is especially noticeable if i dont visit for more then 12hrs

are there any settings to change to fix this?

I think it marks everything read after your last visit. or were you auto logoff.

This is my experience as well. You can mark the entire forum read, which your browser will always remember.

At what intervalls is the "last visit" updated? And when do you auto logoff?

I know there is a setting, I just don't remmeber if I set that as a user or for the forum as a whole.

It is kind of annoying that the forum do not always mark a forum as being already visited, even if I have visited it. I use Firefox 4.01, no autolog off.
